Dear Friends!

From 9 to 15 December the musical festival ‘2010 Almaty International Piano Festival’ is taking place at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatoire (Almaty) dedicated to the two hundredth anniversary of Frederic Chopin and Robert Schumann’s births. This year the whole world sees the anniversaries of these great composers. 

Our Festival shall consist of master classes and concerts of the famous musicians from Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan. Among others Jania Aubakirova (Kazakhstan), Mikhail Voskresensky (Russia), Oleg Marshev (Italy) and Gabriele Baldocci (Italy) are going to take part in them.

Throughout the Festival the distinguished musicians shall share the secrets of their craftsmanship with the young pianist from different countries. And each day the Grand Hall of the Conservatoire shall become the main meeting point of the Festival bringing lovers of classical music together for the unforgettable evenings of Chopin and Schumann.
